Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary

Stock Road (Corner Williams Road) Mylor

Zoos, Sanctuaries, Aquariums and Wildlife Parks

Warrawong is home to 100 species of birds and many native mammals. It's just 25 minutes from Adelaide, so learning about Australia's endangered wildlife is easy. Warrawong offers free admission into the sanctuary from 9am to 4pm, (last entry 3.20pm) seven days. Try our walking trails - Dawn Walks help you discover the five habitats of Warrawong with wallabies, kangaroos and birdlife. The Wetlands and Rainforest Walks are a daytime adventure along the waterways and the rainforest of Warrawong to learn about platypus, native fish, and other aquatic life. Nocturnal Walks depart around sunset - experience wildlife such as bettongs, bandicoots and platypus. All guided tours meander along walking trails and follow boardwalks through the sanctuary. Tours are 90 minutes. While entry to the sanctuary is free, there are fees for guided walks and animal shows. Dine at the Bilby Cafe, with a view of Australian wildlife from your table.
