Angas Springs is located in a generous garden setting at the edge of the historic township of Macclesfield in the Southern Adelaide Hills. Guests will have exclusive use of the whole house except for one room with a separate entrance which is used by the owner and occasionally may be used to accommodate family guests. The Angas River runs through the property. The historic village with two pubs, a café & local shop, Lord Robinson Park, Crystal Lake and Longview winery are in walking distance.
The location is ideal for exploring the Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula with the Southern Vales wine region and safe swimming beaches at the Gulf of St. Vincent to the West and historic Victor Harbor with its horse-drawn tram and popular coastal playgrounds with great surf beaches on the South coast. Lake Alexandrina and the Langhorne Creek wine region are also in easy reach. In winter the South coast offers wonderful whale watching opportunities when the Southern Right whales arrive from Antarctica to calve in sheltered bays.
